I don't mind using a laptop infact I use my ibook a good portion of the gay, but it does make me miss multi screens
SCO=SCUM=M$=SCO it keeps repeating
i'm a randite
DYTDMFBSB?
There must have been some mistake
I'm not the one who should be saved
My divinity has been denied
Mary and me were both fucked by God

I'll probably be running XP, and 2000 on this machine, but I'll probably make the switch to 7 eventually.

I'm a liar. I voted XP but I've already switched to 7. When it goes on sale in October I'll be first in line. I would recommend everybody wanting to use Windows at least tries it out.

Re: Poll: What OS will you be on next year?
@ everyone with win7 taskbar issues: I had the same problems with the new taskbar when I started using win7, but was able to tweak away at least the collapsing. Just go to taskbar properties and one of the options is the combining behaviour which goes from always combine to never ever. I remember seeing on a forum that there is a way to get the text to display on an icon as though you had the program running, but can't remember how it was done...
I used to use the quicklaunch feature of the taskbar all the time in XP and for me the new 'pin to taskbar' behaviour is exactly what I always wished quicklaunch were (with the classic theme, I don't use aero).
