Id like to think hes dead but if he isnt dead he could be anywhere by now. If he was dead I doubt we would ever hear about it though because his minions would probably just burn his body.

Alive and well, probably has a different appearance. Im sure if he broke his muslim tradition and shaved his beard he would look a lot younger and a lot more like a different person, with most people identifying him by his graying beard and militant clothes he could easily pass by as a regular arab without them. Probably already changed, with a body double making the tapes.
I mean the guys been planning such an attack for 20 years now, he definitely had planned this. the attack in 1993 just didnt work. Hes also got quite a bit of cash, most of which is frozen in the us, but again probably some hidden bank accounts elsewhere. Can uuse it to aid his escape, lots of contacts too.
Hes betting that after enough time passes, other things will distract the US, which is largely the only nation that really cares about nabbing him, enough that hes largely a memory, and with the low attention span these days, hes slowly getting it.
I figure in about 5-10 years noone will even mention him.
