I loved L4D, but I'd rather just see more DLC to it than another game. Glad to see a new crackdown game coming. I still need to play the first one, I loved the demo.

Yea, I'm surprised they haven't noticed a sharp drop or steady small level of people playing.Nico0020 wrote:I loved L4D, but I'd rather just see more DLC to it than another game. Glad to see a new crackdown game coming. I still need to play the first one, I loved the demo.

Wait, WTF, when was their conference? I thought it was tomorrow morning.
...okay, so I looked on IGN and apparently not. looks like I'll have to avoid the internet until I can watch them all when I get home from work tomorrow. Good thing I avoided most of Hasney's post, though I was quite confused with all the stuff on Xbox Live tonight (since I thought it was being put on there early).

Something I have been waiting for a long time! I am totally stoked! I played Perfect Dark into the ground. I hope there is improved framerate as they did in Banjo Tooie. And of course online play
Major Nelson, also know as Larry Hryb, Xbox LIVE Director of Programming, just tweeted the following:
"In the booth. Just saw Perfect Dark on XBLA running 1080p. It is coming to XBLA this winter. Free theme coming tomorrow!"
Simply fantastic news to fans of the original. Plus, who can argue with 1080p?

Project Natal looks like a good concept, but my livingroom doesn't seem to be big enough for it
Hasney is right, Forza 3 looks incredible.

Holy hell, this was the best E3 conference I've watched in a long time! Microsoft really made up from their horrible conference last year with this amazing display. I don't give a shit about any of the games they announced, though, as I think the announcements were mostly pretty terrible (with the exception of MGS and Natal), but the conference was definitely a blast to watch.
As for Natal, yeah, it's an awesome piece of technology, but I highly doubt people are going to buy into it like they want. And I'd hate to guess the price tag on that thing.

Loved all of it. Now, how am I going to afford all these games?

these are now also posted at the product page of xbox.com. "Online Multiplayer" is also confirmed!

Finally, an E3 announced game for the Xbox that is actually worthwhile! It's just a shame a re-release is better than Microsoft's entire press conference.Nico0020 wrote:Kotaku has the first screens of Perfect Dark for XBLA. I can't wait!

It looked...okay. I dunno, it didn't interest me.Hasney wrote:Alan Wake
I never played the first one, so I have no interest in the second.Hasney wrote:Crackdown 2
Don't play online games. And even if I did, it certainly wouldn't be Left 4 Dead.Hasney wrote:Left 4 Dead 2
You're right on that one, and I would be all over that if I didn't have it in so many other forms already. The new episodes coming out on the Wii interest me more. And, like Perfect Dark, it's not a new game.Hasney wrote:Monkey Island
I'm not saying that any of these are bad games, as I'm sure they are great to the right audience. I'm just not the right audience. Galaxy 2, Peace Walker, and The Last Guardian were my most anticipated announcements. The only thing of interest at Microsoft's was MGS: Rising (which is multiplatform anyway), and Natal, which may or may not be awesome depending on both support and price point.

While Rareware is at it, they should bring Conker's Bad Fur Day to XBLA.

Live & Reloaded. Granted it's a remake, and a lot of things were changed in it, that's not enough of a reason for MS to bring it to the marketplace. If they did they would just bring Live & Reloaded to Xbox Originals to download.Eviltaco64X wrote:While Rareware is at it, they should bring Conker's Bad Fur Day to XBLA.

I think Nintendo should fuck off and die already, and let us have our Goldeneye for XBL.

It's supposedly still coming, minus all the Bond stuff.

I agree, Microsoft's press conference blew the socks of Sony and Nintendo. I watched them all. Sony was boring ass hell, all numbers and marketing crap which Microsoft intentionally steered clear of. Nintendo was just some middle aged old lady on stage who wasn't very interesting and didn't seem to relate well to gamers (at least to me).
ODST is awesome by the way. Played it at E3

I think they even had some deal where Microsoft got the enhanced version for XBLA and Nintendo could get the original version for VC. That would've made both Wii and 360 owners happy, but Nintendo had to turn it down. :/Code-Red wrote:I think Nintendo should fuck off and die already, and let us have our Goldeneye for XBL.
