Hit up Best Buy's $10 game sale today, walked away with Pure (PS3) and Infinite Undiscovery (360). I almost picked up Soul Calibur too, but ultimately decided I would never play it.

Blitz: The League II (360) - $20
Ah, the joys of completely unrealistic football games.

Is it better than the original Blitz: The League?
What with all the cussing and closeups of bones breaking.

Definitely an improvement over the original. I'm enjoying it thoroughly (which is a bad thing, since I should be studying for exams).Eviltaco64X wrote:Is it better than the original Blitz: The League?

Re: Post everytime that you buy a new game...
I just played through it for the third time. I've never wanted a single product so much in my entire life. My only issue is that b attles have taken a bit of a U-turn in terms of development. There's still no random battles, but everything is back to turn based menu-driven combat, including the return of a seperate screen for battles. It's a shame, as I enjoyed the gameplay in FFXII, but they've not taken anything from it at all.melancholy wrote:I don't care about you and any shit demo.BoneyCork wrote:Oh the movie? Yeah that was great too, especially with the new scenes. I was on about the FF13 demo thoughmelancholy wrote:I've watched the DVD version 3 times the same weekend I bought it. I want the Blu-Ray copy so hard right now.
And I only really say that because you have it and I don't.

Halo: Combat Evolved (xbox) ($10)
I gave my old copy to my brother as a b-day present and he scratched it. I've missed it ever since. It's the only Halo game I still really enjoy playing.

Is this the part where I'm supposed to point out that your PS3 is region-free, but then you point out that downloadable content isn't and you really want to dress up Sackboy like a Japanese schoolgirl?melancholy wrote:I got LittleBigPlanet from Goozex...and then had to return it because the moron sent me a PAL version. Strange. Why would you want to masterbate over Solid Snake?melancholy wrote:Close. Rock Revolution w/ drums $15 Xbox 360
It's decent on guitar, but the drums are stupid. And my green drum pad was malfunctioning right out of the box. 99% of the songs are covers but it's still nice to have some of these songs. Not bad for $15. I'm sure the drums will be a novelty item to have in a few years.
