The Shenmue III budget was diverted toward a failed attempt to capture Bilal Xia. The Chris Redfield bait they used had the wrong haircut. ![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif)

Re: DID THE SHENMUE PROTEST WORK????????
I heard parts of the Shenmue narrative had been transplanted into more marketable franchises, like Sonic The Hedgehog.
Amy is Joy
Rouge is Shenhua
Tails is Fukusan
Cream is the little girl with the kitty
The secret rings are the secret mirrors
The werehog stages are the boring forklift truck driving
The dodgy camera is the dodgy people at Warehouse 13
The agonising gameplay is Ryo's agony at his father's death
Your hope of the next game getting better is as blind as your hope of getting something good from those capsule machines.
I could go on.

It was a riot. Millions of people out on the street, demonstrating for something, not against something. It was a true revolution. You should have been there.
Insane homebrew collector.

Re: DID THE SHENMUE PROTEST WORK????????
Both games should be (and were) on my Top 10 games of all time list. But, my desire to play them again decreased with the likelihood of there ever being an ending - because it's just impossible to enjoy yourself when you know a depressing dead-end is coming. So I disqualified them.
If that was their basis for voting it the worst game of all time I'd be inclined to agree with them. I've played some shitty games and seen some shitty movies, but they all at least made an effort to tie up the main plotline.
Right now all it would take is a couple of paragraphs from Suzuki posted on a website wrapping things up and I'd promote the games back up again. For all I know though the whole thing might just die with him tomorrow, so it's pointless.

Re: DID THE SHENMUE PROTEST WORK????????
The guy that died at the beginning of the first one wasn't his faja. The bad guy was his faja. And the girl he liked in the first one turned out to be his sister.
And the Santa that roams the streets turned out to be Mario.
The chick at the end of the second one is actually his real girlfriend but the first girl was hotter. So he called up his sista and faja and Mario and had happy time.
His faja combined the mirrors and spermed all over Ryo with a mighty force. It hurt him. Ryo was upset because his faja just hurt him. So he left to go find some sailors.
The end.
