reicast won't write to my storage when it says put BIOS data in data folder

hi, i need some help so i came here. reicast tells me to put BIOS data in data folder but reicast will not write in my storage and make a data folder. if you can help me, please reply. thank you to anyone to helps me with this sorry if i caused you trouble but you can keep scrolling if you dont want to help me. thanks
