Yeah, I had seen this already. Far too expensive for my tastes though (and I don't have a System Disc 2 anyway).

Is it possible to dump these discs without using SD2?

That price is a bit on the strong side. It would be a nice thing to have.

Is that 8th of November 2001 or 11th of August 2001 ?

Either way what version is this? Early US ??

Assuming the date reflects the build date and not just the date somebody burned it to that GD-R, then a pre-US build is of very little interest. Not much changed between JPv2 and USv2; Sega only fixed some bugs. A pre-JPv2 build would be interesting for the potential differences between it and the final game, including the possibility of various Ver.1 behaviours that hadn't been altered yet, but a post-JPv2 build would likely not hold many, if any, interesting quirks.

I'm guessing that it is a pre-release of the US build, as the date of August 11th would fall not all that long before the US release. Potentially neat for collecting purposes, but as Ives already said, probably of very little use outside of that.

A date of the 8th of November (or even the 11th of August) might imply a pre-release of the European build, but once again, that's probably of very little use other than the neat collectable factor.

Either date is after the Japanese release, which was in June of 2001.

I have yet to find any differences between the game proper in USv2 and EUv2. The only differences on the disc itself are that they have a different browser when the modem is connected and that USv2 replaces the browser with a BBA configuration screen when the BBA is connected. The game itself, however, seems identical (aside from the lack of the Hunter's License check, which again has no effect on the gameplay).
