So, after my first play I'd like to share my impressions so far: The gameplay in Redux is excellent but it is low res (320x240, like Neo Geo or Mega Drive/Genesis) unlike DUX and DUX 1.5 which featured high res graphics (in 640x480, like most commercial Dreamcast games). I will recommend the game but only if you are a Dreamcast collector or a fan of classic 16-bit style shmups. If you are new to these games I would recommend DUX 1.5 Jewel Case edition as that is the very best Hucast release to date.

Hucast's Rene Hellwig assured to me that Ghost Blade will again feature high resolution graphics - which is nice to hear as the screenshots they've published so far looked fantastic.

Weird! Why on earth would they opt to do the remake with lower res graphics? That makes it seem kind of like a downgrade, though extra ship and stage are neat.
Did RH say anything else about Ghost Blade, by any chance? like when we're gonna see another gameplay vid, or when they expect to release it?

I was going to post this article as a news post before this was posted.
I stopped cause I felt that would just be spam:
