"DIY's dedicated Dreamcast SD card reader directly uses the serial port without modifying the motherboard. Comes with boot disks, and your choice of 1 of 5 different styles. With this you can play the games of FC DC MD SFC GBA GBC PCE NEOGEOCD MAME and many other emulators and homebrew games."
Pretty much you would use this for putting emulators and homebrew games on it, and many other Dreamcast applications such as Xvid movies and music.
These can run retail games, but if they use CDDA, they lag a lot.
I advise using a translator to read these Chinese links.

What is CDAA?
You have to specify these things, only use Acronym's in news post after you have explained what they stand for.

The site is Taobao - it's basically the Chinese ebay, except geared more towards Buy-It-Now style stores rather than auctions. Me and the other foreign teachers use it regularly because there's loads of imported goods you can't find elsewhere in China. You need a Chinese bank account and address to use it though. They never offer Paypal or worldwide shipping.
I'd offer to buy some and ship them out if people wanted them - but I have no way of testing them here and wouldn't be in the position to offer a refund to you if it didn't work.

As long as shipping isn't terribly high, I'd certainly be interested. Save me from having to build one myself, especially at that kind of a price (35 Yuan seems to be around $5.25 or so, according to google).
There's other stuff I've seen on that site in the past that I'd love to have too... as a side note.

If you'd be willing, I'd certainly be interested in up to 5.
This would be a great resource for the serial port cables which have so many other uses (ish).

BoneyCork; i'd also be interested in one! I've recently started playing about with the various ports of Quake again, and this would provide a better means of mod testing.
If you could give me a rough idea of cost, including insured shipping to the UK (and a little extra for your trouble). I'd certainly consider getting one from you. I'd prefer using PayPal for payment.
Thanks.

That's very nice of you Boney. - Maybe he could make some huge set of like 100 pcs and sell it to you and you send it to one of us who then ships them out to the rest ?
