It's a development that takes a while. At first, because you want to fit in with the cool kids, you start with the lesser drugs, like avoiding pork. Then, slowly, without that it's noticible to your friends and family, you start to avoid chicken and even fish.... But how could you not? If you look around it's actually in your family where they let the cat sleep on the couch and in bed, and the dog eats in the kitchen with the family. Growing up under these harsh conditions, who could not understand the lack of self-control ?

Seriously: I don't eat meat, fish nor (if I can avoid it) eggs, but I would miss milk & honey. I think it probably is cruel to bees but honestly I don't care (much) and do enjoy a spoonful in my tea. It's just not the same with sugar.

Now milk might be a more serious question, but I think that milk is extremly healthy and at least I try to buy milk by local farmers that treat their cows with some respect and don't feed them garbage (organic I think is what it's called in the US).

If I look back it's been almost an automatic process: I thought about it, then avoided beef and pork, and after a while even chicken and fish tasted odd, kinda disgusting even. You basically just stop enjoying the taste which makes things extremely easy. But that's also the point where some become dangerously intolerant towards those that enjoy their steaks, kinda like with ex-smokers.

No, it's more that I enjoy milk and honey, but I don't like fish.

I don't like the taste and I don't like the thought of how they're captured and killed. If I would enjoy the taste, I probably would still eat it, but I don't. And yes, I am aware that unlike meat and chicken, fish actually is comparably healthy, but this never was a question of health. It's more of a coincidence that vegetables, fruit, and co. are more healthy than meat. I wanted to stop because I didn't want to kill animals. And that's also the difference between milk/honey and fish: fish is killed during the process.

Anyway, I actually just didn't want to eat mammals, but all of a sudden chicken and fish just stopped tasting good, believe it or not. Last time I tried fish, I almost had to puke, so it's just not a question anymore.

Hm, I think there are a few men that are pretty sexy, but in comparision there are many more women I find attractive.

So, no, I guess.

- Although for you I might consider making an exception :-)

Fish are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, mmmmmm.....

I guess in this day and age people have the "luxury" of eating well balanced diets, and/or a vegan lifestyle. Before we inventing the supermarket, or gas stations we had to barter shiny seashells for a round of cheese...

They also also rich in mercury, some species more than others. Fish intake, while beneficial, is only so in small quantities.

And to balance the seriousness of the former sentence, ham sammich kitten sex crayons.

It's funny that you mention that, because I used to have a passion for those very large golden staples that are used to hold heavy duty cardboard boxes together. I remember the day I collected 50 clearly, as the clouds were Cumulonimbus. This is the easiest type of cloud to remember, as you can think of it as being something that looks absolutely nothing like Jeremy Iron's inner-thigh.
