Not gonna lie. I didn't give a cent to your Kickstarter campaign and will pirate the iOS version on the day of release. I'll play it for an hour, then get bored no matter how good it is, and go back to Timberman or whatever other f2p crack game is currently top of the charts.
Don't worry though, outside of this forum I'll happily keep up appearances; suggest I made a large contribution, congratulate you on reaching your goal, mention it in my prestigious GOTY threads etc. Whatever you need me to do.

http://kotaku.com/kickstarted-jrpg-beco ... 1644908894Once again the folly of Kickstarter has been exposed in the gaming community as a young team of funded developers U-turn on their original proposal. Elysian Shadows was sold to potential backers as a rertro-inspired JRPG - managing to raise almost $200,000 on the platform. However, lead developer GyroVorbis recently announced to fans that they would no longer be getting the game they were promised.
"I wasn't being true to my dream," he explained in a Kickstarter update, "I wanted to make a homoerotic visual novel, and that's what ES will become."
Backers were understandably outraged, with one commenting, "The homoerotic part doesn't bother me, this was always a game for fags and by fags, but I hate visual novels, they're just boring. Full refund please."

Visual novels are usually easier to fap to.Specially Cork wrote:http://kotaku.com/kickstarted-jrpg-beco ... 1644908894Once again the folly of Kickstarter has been exposed in the gaming community as a young team of funded developers U-turn on their original proposal.
