Easily portable?
The source code was written with Microsoft Visual C++ 7.0 with the Allegro library. (found at http://www.allegro.cc) All the other libraries, such as AGUP, FBlend, FMod, etc. have been included in the zip file.
Visual C++ 7.0, Allegro and more...

he always has said easily portable for everything he posts because it makes it seem like he did research or something, then when/if someone ports it "woot i found it and it was so easy for whoever to port it, good thing i did all that looking".

quzar, you dont know me and dont know how i think. Dont pretend like you do. SO what if i dont know as much about programming as you, big deal, and maybe i shouldnt have said it was easily portable since i had no idea there was no allegro library for dc, but i never credit myself for looking for something. please provide when i ever did credit myself for " good thing i did all that looking". As for this charred dirt game, ive been a member on their forums since before it began. Your the only one who seems to post hateful comments on the posts i make, only u. If you pay more attention, i have NEVER said or implied "easily portable" before so please link me to that.

you have been told so after multiple other port requests.

Development Ideas was purged not to long ago, so all records of your many port requests have been erased.

um... no, whoever purged it simply left some of the more important old topics there. Do you REALLY think that there have only been 2 pages of development ideas topics in the past 3 years?

Actually, there probably has been only 2 pages of WORTHWHILE dev ideas in the world of DCEmu. It just happens that this topic is not one of them.
yea, but it still stands that it was purged, with just those few left.

back to the topic- according to atani, it doesnt matter that it is in visual C++ 7.0 and "converting an allegro based game over to DC/PVR should be relatively simple".

But it'd basically involve rewriting all of the code that uses Allegro, and possibly any code that uses Microsoft-specific C++ extensions. Not necessarily easy. By those standards, porting something written in x86 assembly is easy as well.
