Homebrew ADX Support?

Post by speewave » Tue Dec 14, 2010 5:43 am

I've seen stuff on the ADX format.. with a Wikipedia article on it explaining how it works and source code to play ADX Encoded sounds

I wonder if that would be possible to play ADX music using KOS libraries.

*im not that great of a coder to really code it*

The ffmpeg wiki has a somewhat more readable description:

http://wiki.multimedia.cx/index.php?title=CRI_ADX_ADPCM
http://wiki.multimedia.cx/index.php?title=CRI_ADX_file

KOS doesn't have any libraries to decode ADX. It's certainly possible. Pretty much all homebrew just uses MP3 or Ogg Vorbis though.
