Re: Starter dreamcast games
Well, do they require japanees reading? Such as how Guilty Gear X is JAP only, but you really don't need to know japaneese to play it and again which do you recomend?JKKDARK wrote:There are not english versions, but they are still excellent.

Re: Starter dreamcast games
I don't think any of the Hello Kitty games require you to understand Japanese.
Some games I've had some fun with recently:
- Stupid Invaders (classic point 'n click adventure)
- Typing of the Dead (think of House of the Dead but with a keyboard, extremely addictive)
Worms World Party and Bomberman Online are some great multiplayer games worth a try.
Edit: Puyo Puyo Fever and Trigger Heart Exelica are fun too.

It'd suck. In this game you have to type words instead of shooting the screen. But that's pretty obvious by just reading the title >_<Christuserloeser wrote:- Typing of the Dead (think of House of the Dead but with a keyboard

Yup and honestly I absolutely love it. And: it's a damn great replacement for the original HotD if you got a Plasma/LCD, or you're stuck with 100Hz - or just don't own a light gun (anymore).Juan wrote:In this game you have to type words instead of shooting the screen.

Re: Starter dreamcast games
Way too many games to list, but JGR is an absolute must! It's colorful, has an awesome soundtrack and some of the best gameplay in any game available for the system. It doesn't hurt that it is an entirely new spin on the action genre!

I would add on Ooga Booga and Floigan Brothers as well as Shenmue and Sword of the Berserk: Gut's Rage. If she is liking Soul Calibur, have her try out Dead or Alive 2 or Project Justice.

I totally agree with what Sultan of Saturn.Sultan of Saturn wrote:I would add on Ooga Booga and Floigan Brothers as well as Shenmue and Sword of the Berserk: Gut's Rage. If she is liking Soul Calibur, have her try out Dead or Alive 2 or Project Justice.
I also agree with Calavera and his Donald Duck Goin' Quakers suggestion.
Super Magnetic Neo, Chu Chu Rocket, Space Channel 5, and other "cutesy" games might be of interrest to her also.
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a Thousand Enemies, and when they catch you, they will kill you... but first they must catch you.
