Cheating in Half-Life DC

This game has several great parts, but I can't stand the boring parts anymore. For me, the boring parts are the "walk as slow as possible or they'll see you and you're dead" ones. I guess I'm playing it in hard mode, but I've started playing it some years ago, so I don't remember.

My question is: is there any penalty if I use cheats in this game, more specifically the "Dreamcast gives firepower" (infinite ammo) cheat? By penalty I mean stuff like not seeing the "true" or full ending of the game.

I'm not sure about cheats but I'm sure there's a save for Half Life with all secrets open on the VMU backup CD by bucanero, there's a download available over at DCEvo:

It has been quite a while since Ive played but there was always one cheat I could never get to work. I always used cheats every time I played though, without them the game just isnt fun to me; probably cause I am just plain bad.

This is a well known fact, and if somebody is asking for Halflife cheat codes for dc it's obvious He/She has downloaded it.

I had spent quite a bit of my earlier Dreamcasting with the formerly stated unmentionable, and the differences between the PC and DC versions are negligible at best. If you know the console, you can do and see a lot of cool goodies locked away from prying eyes.
