Rebirth of the Dreamcast
I plan to spread the news that the Dreamcast Can never die. and that there is still hope for the dreamcast since they are games in Development.
Will you step along side me ? Remember Dreamcast was an Innovation and Innovations are here to Stay

Re: Rebirth of the Dreamcast
My car (Saturn) with it's innovation (polymer panels) was here to stay, then they stopped making polymer panels and switched to standard GM designs with the saturn logo slapped onto it.phisejr wrote:I plan to spread the news that the Dreamcast Can never die. and that there is still hope for the dreamcast since they are games in Development.

Lesson learned: innovations may not die, but they sure as hell don't get used forever.

I was sitting in a lecture hall today, and looked down, seeing another student's laptop screen. His wallpaper was Sonic and a Dreamcast logo with the text "Dreamcast Will Live Forever".
Maybe it was you?

Yes, the Dreamcast rocks, I love my Dreamcast and I love the games for it. It's great. But I don't see what you're trying to do.
It's thinking...

Re: Rebirth of the Dreamcast
Everyone knows that the Dreamcast is the undead console and thus cannot die...phisejr wrote:I plan to spread the news that the Dreamcast Can never die.
...so what's the point of telling everyone this?
Everyone from the Angry video game Nerd to the people at IGN know that the Dreamcast was and still is an awesome little system that is a great way to play some cool games.
Anyone who knows anything about video games will eventually learn this.
Anyone who wants to shell out a ton of green for new consoles will do so (and there are a lot of those people out there). Or if they want to say that other retro consoles are better than the DC then fine. Sheeze.
I really can't think of one real gamer that I have meet that doesn't think that the Dreamcast is awesome.
So yeah. I am gonna keep blogging and making little Dreamcast themed videos because it's fun. I dunno if a "call to arms" is really going to inspire me personally...
I Plan to spread Information that people do not know about the dreamcast that its still online and im pretty sure it will grow when a number of gamers return to a classic. the thing is im learning more about the Dreamcast in and out not just the games but the whole interface in the system.
Games are still being made for it and its still big in JAP. I live in NYC and I went to J&L ( video game store, in China Town, Manhattan and i seen SOOO MANY Titles for the Dreamcast Used and Bran New. So im pretty sure the Spirit of the Dreamcast is Far From OVER !!!

How is the Dreamcast still online? There is only a very small handful of games that still work online.phisejr wrote:I Plan to spread Information that people do not know about the dreamcast that its still online and im pretty sure it will grow when a number of gamers return to a classic. the thing is im learning more about the Dreamcast in and out not just the games but the whole interface in the system.
A few games come out every now and then, and they're all shooters: It is not still big in Japan.phisejr wrote:Games are still being made for it and its still big in JAP.
