Are the OutTrigger servers still up?

I went on and only seen about 5 ppl on at once. That was about 3 months ago. I have a cable modem now and i cant get online. Can anyone answer my question?

i'm on dsl and can only browse the web on my dreamcast and because of this sega net became very very gay

i just got online with my dreamcast...

outtrigger is one of the games i have...

but the default server is down...

are there any others set up???

According to the Magic Box, Sega will shut down their Japanese Outtrigger servers on August 31st of this year. Also, sales of the Outtrigger Network Battle licenses will discontinue on August 1st. It's sad to see, but with the new consoles heading online around that same time, if not earlier in the case of the Playstation 2, it's about time. I'm mean, Sega has bigger fish to fry as a third-party developer, right? Stay tuned.

It says august 1st but maybe they are slowly downgrading it until that date? dunno! hope it helps though
