REZ for Dreamcast

I'm looking to import REZ for dreamcast, and have noticed that it was sold only in Europe and Japan. I found out that the Euro copy is in English, but am left wondering if the Japanese copy is in English as well? I'd rather have the Japanese version, but only if I can read it

it's a shooter, you don't need to be an expert linguist to understand it

The Japanese version is 100% english.

From what I heard the game auto detects the language setting of your DC and changes to either Eng or JP.

Prolly because they both ask the same question, and it would be a bit of a waste of time to keep two individual threads open, that are asking the exact same question.

This game's a must-have. When I saw it in action it got me buying my DC.

I got overnight shipping (yeah, cost more than the game), but it's awesome. Hopefully it has many levels, I'm tired of awesome games with only a few levels :_(.

lol.. you're gonna be disappointed.. its got only a few levels. but lemme tell you, those few levels give you hrs of fun. trying to perfect each level is the challenge. they arent levels you beat in a minute either..

not really.

Michael Bolton asked where he can buy the game from, whereas Auroedge asked if the japanese vers. was in english.

if you are getting PAL Rez get the white label version as three of 'em I saw showed no poblem unlike some of normal PAL release...

either way you will be paying a lot on eBay...

i wish they made vibrator - i mean transducer - for DC as well...
missus would love that... :p

Rez is the best video game ever made.

I almost had an aneurysm when the guy I lent my copy to (he was supposed to lend me his copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga) disappeared. Thank God he finally did give it back.

Yeah, Electroinalium is right, Rez detects the language you have set in your DC's BIOS and uses that in the game (I think only Rez and, coincidentally, Cosmic Smash do that).

And as for number and length of levels, let's not forget that Trancemission goes on forever. You have to get in the right mood, but then it's the best level there is.

I also wanted to pick up a copy of Rez but both Liksang and Play-Asia are currently out of stock. A question I had is about the PAL version. Would it come out black and white only because of the difference in formats between PAL and NTSC? I really want this game and couldn't care less about which version I pick up as long as it works properly with my system. Oh, and if anyone could point me in the direction of some other suppliers of DC games (besides Liksang and Play-Asia) would be a great help!
