I suppose your DC is NTSC, ?right? If it isn't, you're supposed to use a boot CD with imports.

LOL I would if he would sell it but he is stingy. I wish I could though, Jet grind radio is indeed on of the most treats on DC to date.

Both game and DC are ntsc/u so that is not the problem, i just got a copy of KOF 2k the other day for $10 for a anime store the problem is I need a boot disc too bad there isn't legal ones.

Acually, there are legal ones. Look for them at Lik-Sang. DC-X and DC-I.

And if you're worrying about breaking it, by tweaking the laser, there's nothing to break, only as long as you don't get happy with the potometer and tweak it major. All you have to do is turn it only so that you notice a turn. Then try it out. Probably will take 5 mintues to fix.

apology accepted and I won't diss anymore projects, its hard to make stuff for DC and I am pretty happy with the emus we got.

other than that, I got good news my friend at the anime store can get me a "innovative" brand of a boot disc made by "innovation"so hopefully that will run it without screwing with stuff.

I had to return JGR twice to wal-mart in 2000, I got 2 bad discs out of a baker's dozen that they had, 3rd one worked fine. I don't know if they ran some bad batches, or if it's just a coincidence. I also had to exchange NFL Blitz back in the day too.

Yes the weather conditions harm games very bad. Might not show it, but it does. It is in every single game manual book

Perhaps there's some problem with the bootsector of the disc

I don't know, maybe that's helping it boot somehow...
