i don't think that they have thought carefully about that.
Super Nintendo is very low, and Xbox on place 2 is ridiculous

Shall I be the first to point out the title says "video games" and then it has a list of ten games consoles...

Suppose this is just based on eBay sales? and therefore completely pointless and meaningless (although this would apply for any chart ranking games consoles)

Remember Ian, some gamers are like 14yrs old and only know of "playstation" and "Playstation 2" I had to put the " " in coz now days Playing Video Games = Playing Playstation

I think it probably based on sales/searches because there is absolutly no way that an x-box is better then a SNES in my opinion.

I was thinking of getting an Atari Jaguar on eBay, after hearing about this Tempest 2000 soundtrack and then seeing screenshots of the actual game, which reminded me of Rez (although it should probably be the other way around)... But, I was wondering if any of you DC fans here are also Jaguar fans, and which games are thought to be the "must-haves" for the system, off the top of anyone's head. I had been debating whether or not to post this message here, as it's sort of off-topic, but, in a way, it is not, since I would be interested in hearing a perspective on the system and games from the perspective of a Sega/Dreamcast fan.

I know that there won't be anything like "Well, Power Drive Rally is like Sega Rally 2 for Jaguar," but, I've heard a little bit about such titles as Raiden and Alien vs Predator, although admittedly, there aren't many above those that I think that I might be interested in... But, again, I did purchase a 32X for Knuckles Chaotix, and consider it a fantastic investment.

Any opinions? Should I leave it to purchasing the Tempest 2000 soundtrack only (or the PC/Saturn port of the game, or none of the above)? I think that I would have a nice time playing Rayman on a Jaguar...

I don't actually own a Jaguar but I've heard it has a vital dev scene too

I believe GOAT Dan mentioned that - surely not as huge as the DC scene

But I had Rayman on SEGA Saturn and it was very very nice but hard to play. Tempest 2000 had a really good & improved PSX port, don't know if there is a SAT port that comes close to that!?
I've heard very diffrent opinions about AvP so I won't suggest u that too.

But there was a German guy called Mark La Rocha (or similar), he is an incedible ATARI fan and he had produced two games completly from scratch by its own: Iron Soilder and Iron Soilder 2/CD , both that good that it would make it worth to actually buy the system AFAIK.

Mmh, there seems to exist an emulator for PC so you could try out the games and consider for yourself.

Iron Soldier was made by one guy? I seem to recall a decent length credit list. I have the cart, but haven't played it in ages. Great game.

BTW, I think Tempest 2000 has a HORRIBLE soundtrack. I have it on CD, it came with my Jaguar CD. I heard all these raves about... But man, it's awful. Gives me headaches.
