Well, I see now that is definately fake. Good find speud, but it shatters my hopes.
Out of interested, doesn't What Is Shenmue have you meet a guy from Sega and he has a bunch of Dreamcast boxes behind him? Could that be a picture of it?
If that's not how What is Shenmue goes, forgive me as I've never played it before

That article certainly got my interest sparked again (as have a number of posts on these forums the last few days regarding sega ).
But a few questions make me question that article.
1- how reliable is that source website it came from?
2- how reliable is the guy that wrote that story about the drunk?
In any case, I can't wait till E3 comes around. Even though we have absolutely 0 coverage of it in Australia, due to the fact that we have no video game shows , I am looking forward to E3. (Which is when, by the way?)

I believe E3 starts in less than 2 weeks (May 10 or 12 I believe), tough I'm not sure.Skynet wrote: In any case, I can't wait till E3 comes around. As if companies haven't announced games for one platform then switch them to another during development , or *gasp* cancelling them altogether. Also if they are making a new console, depending on a release date for it they may have quite a bit of time to fill and what better way to bring in money during that period?speud wrote:i dont think sega would announce titles for xbox/ps2/gc while preparing to launch their own console at the same time.
i think all these sites should verify their sources before claiming things as facts, and so you should. the last site you linked is even quoting wrong sources which is the worst.

The problem being MS, Sony and Nintendo would not allow Sega to have a license if they were about to put out a competing product in the hardware market, and I'm willing to bet that Sega's contract with every one of these companies prevents this.Lord_Ball wrote:As if companies haven't announced games for one platform then switch them to another during development , or *gasp* cancelling them altogether.
