9/9/02 - 3rd Anniversary for the Dreamcast in the USA!

Happy third American birthday DC ;)

27/11/02 - The Dreamcast will have been out for 4 years in Japan :D

Hats off to the console with the highest great-game-ratio since probably the SuperNes.

That's what killed it... those insane development costs. The games, at the end, didn't sell that well...

And now, we hear about people creaming their pants over Shenmue on XBox, and PSO on the Gamecube...

True story:

To PS2 owner showing off Headhunter: " But that game first came out for the DC".

PS2 owner: "Nah, you're making it up. the DC couldn't pull off this cool a game. It was very underpowered. That's why it's dead".

Me:...

PS2 owner: "I wonder when that cool GameCube game will come out on the PS2. It's really new, it's called Crazy Taxi (now this guy is REALLY well informed)".

Me: " Crazy Taxi? Sorry, but your hardware can't support that game. Nor Shenmue, or any other game with such a huge, expansive game environment".

PS2 owner then rants incessantly on "polygon counts" and "emotion engines". Clearly, a DC gaming session is in order.

F355 Challenge is shown to PS2 owner. Then Shenmue. Then DOA2.

PS2 owner craps his pants. Asks where can he get a DC.

End of Story.
