But I have found a crazy manipulation inside the game :

You need to put a controller in the port 2

When you play a party, in the start menu you have to do this

Whit the second controler try this "L+R and push srart ".You can do this 4-5 time.

The FPS is low each time you make this Combo.

This manipulation work in games too.

Trick for dragon blood :

in game press start and : L+R and right = God mod ( the same of the retail version) and you can have "Frame time and Flip" ( retail version too ?)
in game press start and : L+R and down = you skip the level ( the same of the retail version )
in game press start and :L+R and up = teleportation ( i don t know for the retail version)

if i remember...

-Final level not finished, no final intro, only crédits ( not sure, maybe it was a bug)
-The start menu of your pictures yes
-In Demo games, you have the start menu in games, placement is different too
-Loading screen different
-Save Menu after each stage is diffrent

I m sure its a interesting build. The End of stage isn't really finished . I remember when i found this beta, i was really happy. I'm wasn't happy for the GD-R but for the game. It was the first time i played "Rez". I have Rez in pal but sealed



I know this Rez prototype is good

I finish the game on GD-R to see.... I have try to found some secret, trick and button combo (Keyboard, controller ect ).
I m sure , this beta have some particularty but we have to search whats ......I m not sure but this build is maybe 4-5 month before the retail.....

Whats i know about rez :

I have see a build of K projetct (Rez ) . The date is 2001/06/01 and version 836 . Its maybe the beta part 1

My GD-R date is just 2 month after the K project builds..... My version is 0.904

I have some new GD-R. I want to search particularty by myself first. I try to share whit you before the end of this years.

I have problem of dumping whit two games.

-Soul Reaver version 1.000 25/01/00. Its a french version. This games for me is in review
-Gundam version G.CV date 4/3 . This build is on a GD-R Katana. This game doesn't work whit disc system 2 and dev kit. Its maybe 2 years, i want play this Beta !!!!!

Have you see Pink GD-ROM before ? Whats is it ? Intern network TEST ? Pirate games ? Promo games ? A silver ? .....

Its crazy, its my opinion, for me its not a prototype. You don't need disk system 2 or dev kit to read this games. Why you don't need serial and access key ? hihihih i want to know what is exactly.

Hi, this is Maddog from Dumpcast. I ran into this thread and decided to make an account.
Although I can't tell you exactly what this GD-ROM is, there are some things and a theory I can contribute to the discussion:

1) It's totally legit as far as I can tell. Apart from the ringcode being the same type as the usual ringcodes from PAL GD-ROMs, Sega appears to have been using a system where part of the ringcode indicates specific GD-ROM content/mastering. It's the xxxxSS part, which in your case is 0430SS. I have made catalogs with all numbers I know from PAL and JP discs. There are many gaps in my catalogs as I don't know/have all discs released. Your 0430SS fills nicely one of those. The retail PSO is 0319SS and the retail PSO v2 is 0495SS.
2) The PAL White Label "Phantasy Star Online Master" has been dumped and is exactly the same as the retail: http://dcemulation.org/dumpcast/viewtop ... f=5&t=1619
3) Your ringcode is 952-0134-0430SS. There are several white labels that have 952-XXXX ringcodes, some identical in content to retail versions and others slightly different/earlier. The closest known to your disc is Fighting Vipers 2 Beta White Label, with ringcode 952-0135-0431SS. Which in my books almost certainly indicates that they were created at a similar time frame (FV2 Beta has a date of 26/12/00 on the header and is slightly earlier than the retail). 0432SS is again an unknown. 0429SS is retail Project Justice.

My theory: It appears that Sega decided to print regular non-final code GD-ROMs for 2 games (or 3, if the unknown 432 is something similar) around Xmas 2000. Most likely for same purpose as the other White Labels.
But for some reason the Phantasy Star you have (and maybe also the missing 0432...) did not receive wide distribution. Possibly scrapped and replaced with the more advanced/final code Phantasy Star Online Master, which received wider printing as a regular White Label. Perhaps if this disc had come out as a standard White Label, it would have been marked "Phantasy Star Online Beta".

Hope all these mumblings make sense...
I wish I had ringcode information for all known White Labels, but alas I don't.

Agartha was for me the most important dreamcast cancelled games whit shenmue 3 and soul reaver 2.

Its just a Demo. You have nothing to do, just walk and watch the Land.

Whats is important ?

-You can see the direction of No cliché for this games.

-The soundthrack is Incredible.

-The atmosphere is. ...

This games would be able to be the games of the dreamcast whit shenmue.

its just a Demo, nothing more. Its really interesting for the history of the dreamcast but to play its not the best .

This build work like the video leaked in 2011. You have a more complete debug menu thats the other build. I can access to the inventory whit nul dc during a part of the games. You have a lot of blue error message .

Its the second build i found whit the technical demo.

This build is brocken. We have try to repear but its look definitivly impossible to do somethings.

I give you this information if somebody want try to make some new research and i hope to found a workinf build of this version.

I didn't saw anything significant. There is mostly boring uninteresting stuff like text differences (don't get me wrong, i'm thankful to Laurent for releasing this files). Also i didn't dig deep into it yet. Who knows maybe there is a lot of hidden combo buttons on second/fourth controllers to activate debug menu with almost retail game content itself.

The hydro_27_._07_.99 and NBA_2k_rouge has a bad .gdi though. I can't seem to boot formula_on_preview in any emulator.

EDIT: hydro_27_._07_.99 and NBA_2k_rouge definitely need to be redumped. the last tracks seem truncated so it looks like they never finished dumping.
