I know a CD Rom under normal conditions won't boot up a GD for NullDC.
Edited: I meant Rom not Player.
Can a DVD Rom read GD's?

AFAIK they can't too, because of the way the data is sorted, dvds can't read it either.
But there's always a way to trick the players ( trap cds and such ) to be able to read the data...
