Any ideas on how to sell these?
My dad owns an art framing business, and is a big aviation buff. He has a TON of small to large paintings and pictures that are all framed very nicely. Some of the prints that he bought cost 500$ alone and with framing they would probably exceed 1000$. My dad LOVES these and the quality of frames shows, but he simply has to many now. He said that I can sell them, and I get to keep all of the cash earned from it. But the problem is, I don't know where to start. I looked on eBay and there isn't a market for this kind of thing (unless I searched wrong). Some of these paintings are quite large and would be very difficult to ship/expensive. Anyone have any ideas on where I can start? I'm pretty stumped.
OOH! YA! Duffman Says a lot of things.

Look for an artsy shop in your town. Ask them to sell the art for you on consignment. You need to just pick the right kind of shop.

You might be able to sell them through a local art gallery.

Gather as much information as possible on the prints and the frames before doing anything.
