Halloween costumes

Post by not just souLLy now »

So I'm having a Halloween party this year, and I'm thinking about costume ideas... maybe buying some liquid latex stuff and make some nice gory fake wounds. Anyone have any experience of using that stuff?

Otherwise anyone got any good costume ideas? Cheap and gory is what I'm thinking :D What are you all doing this year?

I did fake wounds before and it is really simple, you just mold the stuff on your face and use some make up (make it blend and add soem kick ass blood). I'd say maybe get a blood pack and stage a fight.

I'm not sure what I'm going to be for Halloween. My significant other has thrown out ideas that would be better suited for a cheesy porn flick than for Halloween (school girl/principal, red riding hood/big bad wolf, pirates). She didn't like my idea being a vampire/succubus couple. Oh well

Awesome, i was hoping it was gonna be as simple as that. I'm tempted to pick this up, it's a rubber prosthetic neck piece that you glue on with the latex and it comes with the liquid latex and blood, looks pretty awesome.

I've done wounds and burns before for Halloween.. Burns and flesh tearing are pretty easy to do, because if you mess it up it often doesn't matter. Even slices may be harder. Just don't expect stuff like that to look as good as the pictures you see. That one in the link isn't unreasonable, but some of the results on some packages are obviously done by professional artists with a lot of experience. Particularly in regards to coloring/sculpting, which is difficult to master.

It's an art form.

Myself, I still don't know what I'll be going as. I've been thinking I might go as a Slasher-style killer, as I have some stuff that would make it effective and easy to put together.

I am going as a demon warrior. I have some shoulder pads that have skulls and spikes all over it, and I will be buying some gauntlets when I get off work that also have spikes. I am also going to buy 2 big plastic swords but right now all that I am missing is the perfect mask and I am trying to find an armor of sometype. The girl I am talking to is going as a slutty cop type thing(typical for women this time of year to dress this way, but hey I'm not complaining) and she is wanting me to be a prisoner, but that won't happen. I just find it funny that we are going out the the club and while we are on the dance floor, a sexy cop lady and a demon. You gotta love opposites.

The party I'm going to is WWF themed, and while I'm not a fan of it, I was when I was a kid. And I totally am going as Sting (crow form) and am totally going to pull it off.

If you're looking for really cheap way to go, I've done bleeding flesh wounds with styrofoam peanuts before. :)

My brother wants to be Master Chief, which is gonna be fun (sarcasm) for my mom to try to make a costume. I'm not gonna be anything, I'll be taking my brother trick-or-treating and then probably gonna hit up a party after that.

Dude, I think he knows he was never in the WWF/E. Jeeba's a routine defier of conventions. He's badass like that.

Besides, he's not wide-bodied enough to pull off any of those guys you mentioned.
