Congrats. I've applied for at least 7 jobs with 2 actually going far enough to kiss my ass and one having me do a days worth of work to see if I'd like it or not.
All so far have been duds. Good to hear theres at least someone getting hired.

A few fries short of a happy meal.

hope you get a good job to.....

Is APE a telemarketer?? Oh how i know the pain of being a telemarketer (in the past of course).
Congrats on your new job Yonke.
I also fully understand the jitters you get when you start a new job that you really wanted because I also started a new job this week. I have a horrible feeling in my stomach!
It's now Friday, I've done my first week and I am much happier and all settled in nicely.
No doubt you will also settle in nicely as well.

That's pretty awesome man. It's rough finding a decent job these days. I've also applied for about 200 and still nothing.

FYI, there is a large IT skills shortage in Australia at the moment, if you don't mind moving down under you could probably score a well paid job in IT or web / software development.
To see what I mean take these searches as an example:
http://it.seek.com.au/ (have a look at the amount of jobs available next to each category)
http://www.careerone.com.au/
http://mycareer.com.au/
I know of plenty of organisations (including the place that I work for) who are taking part in sponsorship programmes in order to get skilled IT workers into the country.

Couple that with living in the country and you've got yourself a big steamin bowl of Unemployment Gumbo.
