Ok, my sister is in a singing competition and got "disqualified" because another singer complained about the music she used. (although thanks to karma, that person f'ed up and broke a rule and got sent home as well)

But they have a system where 1 person voted off gets back on each week (there are only 2 weeks left). So, i'm asking for you to go to the website (at bottom of page) and vote for her (Ashleigh Horton). She was very pissed off it happened, and it's partially my fault (i gave her the music to sing to) so i really want her to get back on.

You do have to register, because they finally caught on to the "disable cookies" trick. And it does take minute (the registration email will go to your junk mail folder almost guaranteed from thepines@rochester.rr.com) to register, but it would be greatly appreciated if you could do it.

What was wrong with the music?

They had to do a "rock" song. The artist they had to choose from was Brittney spears (yeah, i know, she is _not_ rock)

so she picked i love rock and roll from the list, i went to itunes, downloaded the karaoke version of it, and because it wasnt the pop shit Brittney spears version, they didnt accept it.

And it was the same thing with her other song "Proud Mary". She did the tina turner version instead of the original artists version (slips my mind now)

The entire "music" thing is f'ed up. But for the next 2 weeks, they povide the music so it's not something we/i have to worry about.

on the left side bar, you have to mouse over the "wyo. county idol" then on the list that pops up it's the bottom choice.

The site has been having a ton of problems since they introduced this new system, so i dont know how they are going to handle it.
