Archive of the Original UBB Forum?

I was wondering if anyone had a backup of the original UBB forum that was on Emulation Unlimited, or the UBB we had here on the site. I think this was from 2000-2001.

I have one or two useless pages saved, nothing else. I remember a moderator saying back then that it was impossible to back up the forum's database.

007 might have a backup, but it's probably gone by now. :-\

Some things are best left alone, i was about 16 at the time we were using those forums and my angsty teenage years are best left unquotable.

I guess you guys have caught a break of luck....for now. I was talking to Cheatah, and it will be a little while before I get my hands on them.

It will probably need a lot of cleaning darc. As you may remember there was a massive amount of spam and hate posts when the DCEmu/Boob split happened.

But yea, Ill send you a copy for the archive.

That's great news! I wonder if I can find my old posts in there.

I don't think the hate posts are a big deal. Those things happened 6 years ago.

Interesting. I believe I was registered then, but I never made a post on the old forum. I came just weeks before the switch.

I thought I remembered them all going to Boob!. I know T Money, LynHrt, crt0, and a couple of the other guys did...

Wasn't Console vision named something else before, possibly Dcvision or something around those lines?

They didn't leave for Boob!, they left for Consolevision, which was then called DCVision.

I went through the old forums on archive.org awhile ago, they are about as interesting to read as posts from 1970 on these forums.

Also the "split" happened after UBB, it was when we were using phpBB 1.4 or 1.x something.
