the sad thing is how this was aired with no controversy because he is a "racial minority", yet there is no fucking way c-span would allow some alabama clansmen to preach such hatred for africans. it's hypocrisy, and whoever reads this knows it is.

i would never agree with either side, because i dont believe in extremism and i dont believe in racism, but, in practical terms, for the mindset of a civilization, it's a much bigger loss for society that one side of an argument is allowed, while the other is not, than it is that both of those sides even exist. which for me is pretty hard to say. but it's true.

I want to kill dumb people, or just use superior intellect to prevent them from breeding. We can start with Stagg and work our way up.

If I heard him right we are trying to kill them through electromagnetism, and through cigarettes that anyone can smoke willingly. Perhaps they shouldn't smoke?

Extremism is not a belief, its a measurement of the intensity of a belief.

I think by saying that he doesn't believe in extremism (obviously he is not denying the existence of extreme perspectives) he implies that it is a belief to be held by those willing.

But let's not trod off into semantics.

The root of my correction was in my distaste for the Bush Administration's usage of the term.

What is really funny is that only 5 people showed up to hear this guy talk and c-span still aired it.

what i meant to say is that i don't believe in judging and acting in absolutes, nor am i comfortable with it. life is too vague to scope most movements, especially hate.

'kill all of the blacks and end innercity gang violence' wow. that would most definitely work. but you'd also be killing 95% of a race.

and while we're on this topic, thanks to the esteemed gentleman on c-span, wealth and power can lead to abuse just as much as poverty causes crime. it's human instinct. and until we learn to reconcile with that, there will be confusion and misunderstanding on both ends of the spectrum.

See what I mean. First of all, not really funny or witty. Second of all, grammatically wrong. It should be: "You'll be sad to see me go."

Do you still need it fully spelled out? "Second of all, [it is] grammatically wrong." At least it is acceptable, whereas using the possessive for the third person is just trying to sound pompous.

When does the excited face mean "Hey, your grammar is wrong!"? I was simply being happy that you were correcting grammar. Y'know, seeing that I"m the resident grammar nazi and all. :P
