Anyone know how to use it, all i get are errors when I try, or is anyone currenty using it that can tell me their config? I want MSN Messenger to see the songs I play in RealPlayer.

how about not using real player?

msn already has a built in functionality for this with WMP, and to be honest i dont see why anyone would voluntarily use Real

Winamp is the king...

...unless you have an iPod, which actually gives you a reason to use the bloated iTunes. In that case, iTunes is king.

iTunes is king period. i love the orginization of media, the podcast directory, even the music store. the awesome integration with an iPod is simply a nice bonus.

iTunes sucks, but is a neccessary evil for me. My SLVR will not sync with third party programs. But iTunes requires a person to format their iPod every time you format your computer. So if I reinstall iTunes, iTunes will wipe my iPod and proceed to put all the songs back onto it solely because it thinks it's a 'new library'. Tell me this isn't the stupidest feature you've ever heard.

Try the new windows media player 11 beta. Its a public release beta.
You can get it at download.com

I really like it.
