1. 2nd one did indeed pwn. But the 3rd was meh, IMO.the second one and the third pwned. btw, are the rumors that I've been hearing on the net about Universal considering doing a fourth and final bttf true?
I've even heard someone go as far to say that Micheal J. Fox wants to play the Doc in the fourth one.
They gotta get Biff back too.
2. That's the WORST idea I could possibly think of. That would be an awful movie.

No, the rumors are not true. In addition to being a horrible idea, MJF could not return because of Parkinson's, and Christopher Lloyd is pretty damn old nowadays. Did I mention its an awful idea?
As for the movies go, while I don't particularly like the 3rd one, I feel it was entertaining and did its job well. It kept the series interesting and ended it in a different way.
It was nice seeing past, present and future... and extreme past throughout the series.
I love the trilogy as a whole... actually last semester for a film project I was going to edit them all into one complete movie... which would have had the events take place in chronological order. I got about half way through and it was EXTREMELY hard to follow, but very interesting nevertheless.

I honestly do not have a favorite movie, but that's probably because I really do not like to watch movies in general. I've seen plenty of movies that are great and probably could be my favorite, but no matter how good it is, I always get this feeling of dread when I sit down to watch any movie. I just don't like movies.

Garden State, Clockwork Orange, Run Lola Run, and The Wall.
I like a lot of movies. I might be forgetting some. Me and my friend (another big movie fan) are going to have to have a movie night .

Interesting side note: First commercial use of stereo sound. Ever. So if it ever feels like they pan the music back and forth a ridiculous amount--that's why. They were showing off their new tech.compacho wrote:Just saw Fantasia for the 1st time and all I can say is Wow! Just WOW!!
...seriously WOW! Definately got to buy the DVD now.
I like Fantasia (I own it, in fact) but man.. Some of its segments are not nearly as good as others. E.G., the Mountail Devil bit or the Sorceror's Apprentice are great, but the fantasy bit with the centaurs drags forever. Just my opinion.DaMadFiddler wrote:Interesting side note: First commercial use of stereo sound. Ever. So if it ever feels like they pan the music back and forth a ridiculous amount--that's why. I didnt decide I hate anime. I just got bored of all the series that go on for episode after episode but the story never goes anywhere and everything is just a carbon copy of a carbon copy.Hawq wrote:Nice choices, although didnt you decide you hated anime now? ok that wasnt too productive a post I'll make a more usefull one later probably as theres too many films to think of at the moment.BoneyCork wrote:- House of Flying Daggers

Mononoke was one of the first anime movies I ever saw properly and I just thought it was a really nice story. Yeah, it isnt all kewl and sci-fi and confusing like most "great anime movies" have to be but I really enjoyed it as a family movie.
Oh and Orbo, I didnt find Oldboy predictable at all. I've been known for ruining last-minute twists in a number of movies, but that one suprised me.
Although having said that, when I guess a plot twist, it is usually because I know there is going to be one. I never knew there was one in Oldboy, so wasnt looking out for it

I liked oldboy, but wasnt sure about the ending. Did he come back from the hypnotizing as the guy that knew, and he just didnt care or actually liked it? I dont want to spoil it for people, but I was confused. Those of us that have seen it know what Im talking about.-Orbo- wrote:While it was a very entertaining movie, it was too predictable.BoneyCork wrote:- Oldboy
My favorite movie would have to be Blade Runner.

*Spoiler*
I think the tears at the end were of sadness. My interpretation is that he was the monster all along.
