If you know anything about Obey Giant, you probably know where the artwork comes from. The face clumsily GIMPed into the screen belongs to this guy.
"You know, I have a great, wonderful, really original method of teaching antitrust law, and it kept 80 percent of the students awake. They learned things. It was fabulous." -- Justice Stephen Breyer

I've decided to go back to my original and standard avatar (ie what I use everywhere else). It's a detail photo of an old 5 1/4" disk drive, taken during my freshman year of college for my color & light class. Somewhere in storage, I probably have about 40 sketches of that goddamned drive.
I'm a lone wolf looking for trouble.

lol - I agree. That anime cover is awful.Vlad Tepes wrote:I always try to have a Castlevania themed avatar, and I usually like it to have some connection to the most recent game. My current avatar is the cover art that Dawn of Sorrow should have had
The Goon is a comic book by Eric Powell. Kind of in the vein of Ghostbusters or the lighter side of Hellboy.

...That wouldn't, by any chance, have anything to do with Powdered Toast Man, would it?toastman wrote:My primary avatar. There have been a couple of variations on it and it has been replaced for a brief period, but 99% of the time it has been this piece of toast.
Why?
I'm toastman. It made sense. Where did it come from, I toasted a piece of bread and then scanned it.

If it did, I would be Powdered Toastman, but I'm not.
The only reason I'm toastman and not just toast is because when I registered on the UBB forums I couldn't use the toast name for one reason or the other. (either too short or already taken)

It's a picture of Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction. Apparantly everyone who lived in the 20th century has seen this movie, which would probably make it the most successful movie of all time.melancholy wrote:I don't recognize it.Mr. Jeeba wrote:Whoever doesn't recognize my avatar wasn't apart of the 20th century.
