Resident Evil DS

How does everyone who bought the game like it? I personally like it, having it in the palm of your hand is really nice. Also has anyone had trouble turning the valve when your in the room near the sharks? I can't seem to do it.

Not out here until Monday, and that's a US import too. Hopefully will pick it up sometime next week.

I'll probably never finish it, however. Just like all the other Resident Evil games I have.

No way. I have played the first RE game too many times to go out and buy it AGAIN.

This is now the 4th remix of Resident Evil 1? I mean there was RE1, RE1 directors cut, Resident Evil Gamecube, and now this. Enough with Re1.

I've been debating about buying it. I had originally planned to, but then in anticipation I played through the original again (and got my best time ever, as it happens - though still not good enough for the rocket launcher). Made me unsure if I'd ever really feel the need to play it on a portable. I know I'll play the PSX original again though, sooner or later. I've beaten it at least a dozen times over the years. Oddly though, I never have beaten it with Chris.

Of course, I saved a Christmas gift card to buy it with, and the nice thing about DS games is if you decide you don't want it, they usually have excellent resale. So I'll probably get it.

Ya, I debated about getting because I have it for Cube, but trust me, it really is nice to have that game in your hands while in the dorm room. It can scare you as well because the DS had exellent sound. I hope 2 and 3 come out for it as well, or maybe an overall NEW RE.

Nah, I doubt it. Capcom really, REALLY like to do remakes and revamped versions of games. Just look at the Street Fighter series. Eek.

Its this or Age of Empires(IGN gave it an 8.2), I still havet decided yet. On the one hand im dissapointed that its another remake but then I never played the original RE either.

The DS would be perfect for an RE4 like combat system. Over the shoulder aiming with the stylus would kick some anus. Back when RE was anounced for DS that is the kind of game I invisioned.

Considering i never played the first RE ,and DS needing some 3rd person action games. i'll most likely pick it up. Especially considering i'll be back on the road to pittsburgh ,and back next semster for college. I hope they make a RE4 style game for DS that would rock
