They have those sortof things everywhere around here... in Malls, in movie theaters.... they're used as interactive advertisements. I guess that they aren't in many places across the country?

yeah, that's not nintendo or new....they had one at the toronto science center that did the same thing, and changed stuff every 5 minutes.... (it was actually kinda cool, it was set up in a type of game thing...it was about 15 feet long 4 wide and filled with 1' squares, everytime you stepped on one you had to jump off of it to the next one, but depending on wich one you stepped on in a certain order, it would turn other's on and off...it was cool...

I say something like that might be made during our lifetime. That video was very impressive.

The technology is nothing more than a projector, with motion sensors very similiar to SmartBoards that are going in newer schools. AFAIK, the floor doesnt have the display on it, it's just a projected image being interacted with.
