As a dodge guy, I love it. They need to stop stuffing the new hemi engine into random new cars though, imo.

Also it seems that they designed it to almost look like the new mustang; which would make sense considering that dodge hasn't had an original idea in years...

Ooooooooooooooh.... much better than the new "Charger", this one actually seems like it will carry the legacy of the old one.

The GTO? Underpowered, didn't really carry anything over from the original.

Charger? They made it a 4 door family car, and made it look like a German tank.

Challenger? I hope this goes into production, and I hope there is an option for a Hemi in it.... but I'm 90% sure that this won't make it into production simply because the people @ DiamlerChrysler are idiots and don't let any good ideas out.

I am a Dodge guy myself too, but given all the concepts in the past couple year, they really have let a lot of good things slip by while producing crap :-\

Very Nice; but probably overpriced.

For the people that are saying it looks too similar to the Mustang (as if it's a bad thing), here is a picture of the original Challenger:

That isn't too different than a Mustang in the 60's either, so it's not like they were copying the 2006 Mustang :)

Plus with a Hemi this should blow that away... Mmmm

I'd much rather drive the old Challengers...much like when I was driving around a 1993 plymouth duster (with a damn mistubishi engine)

None of the new cars feel like the classics. I had a old roadrunner and it was a pure joy to drive I cant find anything that feels like that. Those cars had room inside, a stylish appearance, and power.

Well, that's sortof a good thing and a bad thing. I've driven a 1966 Mustang (dad had one for a while last year), and it was an awesome feeling to drive. The sound of the engine, the classic dashboard and interior, it was all a great experience.

I have also driven a 2002 Mustang, which felt like a modern sports car... it wasn't entirely too powerful (this was only the V6 model), and it didn't feel too good to drive. Too big and clunky.

Last week I had the privelage of driving my uncle's 2006 Mustang, which I have to say is a real joy to drive. The engine feels powerful, and sounds different than anything on the road, it could handle better (although the 1966 wasn't especially good at handling), but this model felt quick and light... it was a real joy to drive :)

I hope this feels like the Challengers' of old.... closest thing I've driven was a '68 Dodge Super Bee (my dad's), and that was a real fun car to drive :-D

I think it's the fastback design both cars share and the headlights that draw the comparisons.

The new Challenger looks as awesome as the new Charger should've.

Plus, the Hemi wasn't created for the Charger. The Hemi has been previously put in many different cars.

Those macs have got you delusional.

Eitherway Fords will always suck because they can't make a transmission for their life.

Looks great if you ask me. I like how the car companies are going back to the old styles. Most of the new cars look similar.
