i want to format a old dell computer that have os windows server to
install windows 98 se ........the problem is when i use the startup disk of win98 i can format the harddisk becuz is in ntfs......
any of iu know a dos software whit boot that can help me format this harddisk?????

You can obtain a Windows XP or 2000 startup disk pretty easily and use that to manage an ntfs partition. Failing that fdisk can delete the partition.

If I remember right fdisk in dos can see a ntfs drive so you could delete partitions

If you don't care about the data, just zero the drive and format it however you want.
