Nice Wagh, enjoy the truck

This was a fun xmas, since it was my first one not living there.

-Alesis Micron analog modeling synth
-random used church organ
-Underminded - Hail Unamerican
-Paint Shop Pro 8
-Toilet paper
-a peacoat
-Vans Classic-Slipons in an out of print fabric
-socks
-Hair dye and someone to help dye it
-My favorite snack, ranch pretzels
-random candy, including Big Red (yummy)
-a random brushed aluminum tool kit

I got all I wanted, so I'm happy. I think what I gave was even funnier. Cell phone bling and vibrators.

Update:

2 Pairs of pants
An fm radio carabiner thingy (yay, more headphones for me to break!)
A mediaplay Gift card (gotta waste it quick because the store is closing)
Some thing from my sister about how appreciates me. When she grows up I might make her one.

Not bad, considering I don't believe in Christmas :P . Which reminds me, I gotta call me godparents to say merry chrismas.

Fairly normal, except this is the first year I didn't get any video games. I think the Best Buy gift card and $120 can fix that however.

Thing is, it usually balances out (though it is great when you're young). If you're in a family where you get a lot of stuff for Christmas, you end up spending a lot more when you get older than those with less exuberantly giving families.

I got EVERYTHING on my Christmas list, which is a first for me. I wa quite pleased with almost everything I got, on my list and not.

DVDs:
The Whole Bean set
AVP Unrated
Deliverance (that one was a little random, good movie though)
Groundhog Day
An American Werewolf in London

Games (all DS this time)
Castlevania DOS
Mario and Luigi: PIT
Sonic Rush

Other stuff:
LTB USB 5.1 headphones. Haven't tried the 5.1, but they work quite well (very nice bass) as standard stereo headphones
Leather driving gloves (might have to go a size down on these though)
A tweed cabbie hat.
A $50 borders gift card
A $35 Best Buy gift card

Good stuff.
How to be a Conservative:
You have to believe everything that has ever gone wrong in the history of your country was due to Liberals.

Orbo, do you drink or something? Or is the breathalizer to check to see how stinky your breath is as a joke?

It finds the router sometimes (one time in four?), if I'm sitting right next to the thing. Otherwise it doesn't find it at all. It thinks the connection is WEP-encrypted, even though it isn't. When I try to connect, it just fails after anywhere between two and five seconds (approx.)
Not sure if you saw the issues I had with MK and my wifi router (belkin 4 port cheap POS). The problem I was having, according to some other forums, is that I couldn't keep a connection at 2mbps, it just wouldn't do it that low. I solved the problem by constantly pinging my DS using Fping and the command:

Code: Select all

Fping.exe 192.168.1.11 -c -t 10 -w 10
Worked like a charm after that.

If you can't get it to work, I'll be happy to ship you the wifi dongle I bought from Nintendo as I no longer need it. I got my gf to order it for me in the morning while I was at work, come night time I found out how to connect via my router using the above method. Cost me $50, but if you want to work out a resonable price I'd be happy to do it. Shipping shouldn't be much as the thing weighs nothing and there's only a cd, usb cable and small instruction book with it. Nintendo doesn't muck around with bulky boxes or anything do they? Hell, my BBA was just the unit itself in a plastic bag inside a postage parcel.
