So now we know what has delayed the game for so long. It's going to be released around the time that the Revolution is released.
Imagine how tired we will be after playing this game for a couple of hours swiping our "sword" and raising our "shield" and throwing bombs and fishing

Great... Now I can look like an ass playing Zelda. It's a childhood boy's dream come true.

on the flip side, NGC reports the rev will launch (in europe anyway) in november or there abouts, and TP will be launched close to it, does that mean the april 2006 launch window for zelda will be missed? are we talking oct/nov now?

Yeah, but when the game was supposed to be out by now, I'm not really liking the fact that I may have to wait nearly a year to get it.
I still think the april window is more than reasonable, and I'd be very disappointed if it came out later...but then I think of how good the revolution experience will be.

When do you ever look
cool playing a video game? Ut-Oh, he's moving his arm instead of pushing buttons on a controller, he's obviously a retard.

I hope they don't plan to REQUIRE you to use the revolution controller.

...how could they? It's a GameCuge game.

Just to spite you, you'll also need to hook up a GBA to get past the title screen which will feature Tingle dancing to "It's Raining Men."

Hrmm... Zelda.... oh yes! I have this game fully paid for and pre-ordered!
Can't wait for it to come out ... whenever it is.....
Really wish I would have kept that $50, it would be much better in my hands rather than GameStop's. And I have a feeling that their stupid notecard filled box of names isn't going to work out well once the game ships, with a preorder from over a year before the game comes out.

This was going to be my sole reason to buy a Gamecube, if they require the damn controller I swear to god, I'll take the GameCube money and go get drunk or buy a hooker or something.

You'll have to get drunk first if you play to get a hooker for that amount of money

... how is everybody taking this wrong....
It just is said to be COMPATIBLE with the controller... not required. Revolution controller for use with a GameCube console?
Not possible.
GameCube game being played on Rev with that controller?
Possible.
Common sense people... this *is* a GC game after all.

As long as it doesn't result in another lengthy delay then I don't really care either way...

Notice I said if they require. So I'm like awesome and I didn't take it to the extreme, necessarily.

Your a gamer, and thus whore. You will still buy the Rev instead of the GC.
