WTF.... thats so stupid. Who the hell is actually going to follow that... the only way to actually pick the people you play , and they're against it... stupid.
They're just being Nintendo - overly cautious. They don't want to get in trouble somehow. I think it's a bit ridiculous, since there is absolutely no way to communicate in MKDS. Friend codes will also apparently differ from game to game. But really, there's plenty of other forums to share friend codes on besides Nintendo's.
By the way, my emblem is of Sonic. Go me. Looks amusing when you're playing as Mario. Added all of you guys to my friends list.. But haven't seen anyone
How to be a Conservative:
You have to believe everything that has ever gone wrong in the history of your country was due to Liberals.
ok. lets see how far you are. go under Nintendo WFC on the main menu, then go to "Friend Code", "Register friend code", and then enter any of the previously listed friend codes.
then to search for a friend, go back to WFC match and connect, but set the vs. opponent to friends.

Good race, man. But eggshell Daisy was just too much for your Luigi
I'm searching, and I keep getting one person to come in, but then it just drops out again. Now I've been waiting for 5 minutes and nothing's happened. I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong, or if it's just the system.
Good effort, though. I'm notorious for booby-trapping things
Anyway, I'm a little confused as to why it will set up a group, and then dump the group at the last possible instant before the game starts, and have to start searching all over. Both times I raced Vchat, we originally had 3 people in the race, and the Nintendo matchmaker randomly decided just to drop everyone and only stick the two of us together.
Ah, Nintendo--your Internet service is as quixotic as the game worlds you create.
be nice if they gave us standard host-based game rooms where the host actually decided when to start the game. oh well, the the inaugural wifi game, its not too shabby.
lets just be glad nintendo finally jumped online. its probally a foreshadowing for what is to come with Revolution.
oh by the way Mel...the game lets you know when someone on your friends list is on. if watch the top screen right above your signal strength a blue icon will appear that looks similar to the signal strength icon except its blue with a white figure. it will blink.then when you see that do a friend search ,and hopefully you'll connect with someone on your list. hope that helps
