The Mario Kart DS Thread

Post by Skynet » Tue Nov 08, 2005 11:03 pm

Well, as time draws near and as much as I'm sure most DS owners are anticipating it, I figured I'd make a MK DS Thread. :P

Just curious, how many of you have a wifi router that's compatible with nintendo wifi connection? There's a compatability list here!

I'm lucky I happened to pick the router I own, it's the Belkin F5D7230-4 which is recommended for NWC.

8 days and counting...

Let's see, Belkin F5D7230...yea, it's says it's perfect! Actually, though, it doesn't matter since I won't be going online with my DS anyway.

I cant wait till the game comes out. I've already challenged a buddy of mine to a red shell whooping. it says my brand/model router is recommended for it so im in good shape. the closest place i have to buy it is walmart ,but they never get games on time of their release. if i preorder it from EB online would it arrive the day its suppose to be released or would i just be better off waiting till it hits walmarts shelf.

I always liked the Mario Kart Series. I played at one point in time the N64, SNES, and GBA versions and liked them all. This however isn't a must have title for me. If I ever find it cheap enough Id like to try the GC version out.

Great game on the cube. It's now in the player's choice or something in Australia so it's only $49.95 now, as opposed to the $99 I saw at Toys R Us about a month ago. :?

Massive price drop, but considerring how long the game's been out for, I can't believe it didn't happen sooner.

According to IGN MK:DD is a worse game than Tak and the power of JuJu.

That's IGN for you.

My D-Link isnt listed. I have a 614+

Look at that list I could either assume its closer to a D-Link 514, which means it wont work. Or that its closer to a D-Link 624, which means it will work perfectly.

Most stores here in the u.s are still selling double dash and pikmin 2 for $50...despite them being a couple years old...are they not selling? or is ninty just being greedy?

If they weren't selling, the price would have dropped quickly. There is a steady demand at that price, so that's what it's left at.

Well, $50 US is roughly $67 AU, which is still cheaper than what we were being charged. But Pikman 2 was also that expensive at some places like target and kmart, I just don't get it :o
