So tonight I'm going to my first ice hockey game. I'm not sure what to expect out of Adelaide's team (my city) but we have a guy in from Canada, so maybe we'll do alright.
I'm not really a fan of ice hockey, but I do have NHL 2k2 and think it's great. I want to get into it and wanna know what other people think of it. Personally, I can't wait. Whether or not we win might not be a problem, so long as the game doesn't just drag on all the time.
It was pretty sweet. I liked it but had to leave after the 2nd period due to time constraints. An hour and a half and we only got through 2 periods. If it wasn't for that fact, I would've stayed the entire game.
I suppose I just kinda got into it. I watched my cousins girlfriends little brothers team play (Under 10's). They won the tournament and kicked ass, even if they were tiny
I'm from Canada, so it's a requirement for me to watch it Seriously, I think it's a good game, though depending on what strategies the teams are playing it can be pretty boring. (the Neutral Zone Trap killed the game)
Damn you non-Canadians! It's not ice hockey, its just hockey! The ice is implied! There's no need to state the surface it is being played on or the kind of hockey it is unless it is not on ice (i.e. roller hockey, street hockey, etc.. )
