No one goes to Dreamcast Discussion anymore...

You guys really should check it out. Things have slowed down a lot there. It makes me sad, because not many people go there so no one answers questions. I need help with something, if you guys could check out DC discussion more that would be great.

To be honest, I don't think that many people play/even own Dreamcasts around here any more, and even if they do, I don't think they know much about commercially released games. Mostly emulators.

That makes me sad. I didn't really want a Dreamcast at first, kinda going with the crowd. But then My friend got one and he showed it to me, we played it, and I loved one ever since. I was saving up to buy one but then sega decided to scrap it and the priced dropped and I suddenly had enough money to buy one. I got to all the stores but couldnt find one. I finally got a DC last summer (August 2004) and I havent played almost any of the games for it (so I'm buying them, its good that they are cheap

). So I basically missed everything about DC. It's a good and bad thing. Bad things are stuff like, being able to go to a store and buy a brand new game that was just released and playing PSO on the Sega Net Server, Good things: the games are cheap, and they are new to me so I'm not re-playing everything I've already beaten.

I have a DC too. You are right, no one goes there now.

I always check it to see if some posted something anyway.

What games do you have? I have 13 or 14 games for the DC.

As an ols skool gamer, I still play my dc, sometimes more than my gamecube. However, since I lack common sense when it comes to modding, I don't have any knowledge to dispense in dreamcast discussion...

I go in everynow and then, but only answer where I can offer advice, help or something to the conversation.

My problem with going into DC discussion is mainly only seeing threads relating to the next shooter being released on DC. I love shooters and I love the DC, but come on!

Well, other than the GOAT games, that's all that's being released commercially for the Dreamcast.

i don't play my dc that much anymore but it's still hooked up. mostly i've been playing my snes and WoW on the pc.

3. Sonic Adventure
4. Sonic Adventure 2 (japanese Import)
5. Shadowman

well, I don't play my DC much anymore either, I own 20 games all commecially bought. I will keep it forever cuz i don't like selling stuff but I just don't play it, its hooked up with my multi system hookup thingy but DC games no longer hold my interest. I emulate now and that is about it.

I love Sega and the dc, but let's be honest here...There aren't many people at dreamcast discussion, cause everyone would rather be modding their boxes....While the dc is certainly not second to the current consoles, even when the dc was being supported it was ignored....cause of let's ay it together: "The Playstation"!

I actually take my DC with me those days i want to play fighting games at college. Tried the GC, but without the Hori pads, the GC doesn't cut it. I don't have a PS2 and the Xbox... NOT portable.

I actually use a Xbox carrying case for the DC, controllers, cables and the 5" screen.

I play My DC almost as much as my Xbox... I think i'm becoming a true DC fan. And to think, at on point I opposed the DC

/angry at self for thinking that the DC sucked a while ago
