It's funny how I care so much about kittens and go out of my way to save them... then eat the flesh of a poor animal my brother shot down in cold blood only days ago...

Its not worse then the slaughtering process of your store bought meats. Also Deer meat is nearly fat free if your into that sort of stuff. Even Weight Watchers considers Deer Steaks/Burgers a FREE item on there new flex plan. I personalyl think the steaks are not all the great, but I love the burger. When you go to patty out the burger mix some onion and chili powder in it before you patty it out. The chili powder and Onion really flavor the meat after it cooks.

Has anyone here eaten a deer that WAS NOT killed in cold blood? That means to do with premeditation and deliberately. So I guess road kill, a dead deer you found, or a deer you killed in self defense qualify...

I know the cops back in Michigan (home of 60,000+ deer-car collisions annually) sometimes took road kill deer back home to eat, which they're actually not supposed to do. Good for them though.

I actually seriously ate roadkill turkey once. My brother hit it with a car, and I had no idea it was roadkill until after the fact.

That's illegal in most states. (just to keep people without hunting licenses from highway hunting)
