That might excite me if I didnt already have those Dooms on my Xbox in plain & Doom Legacy flavours, on the plus side though maybe its a version of Doom 3 that could actually be playable unlike the pc one was (well it was playable but hell it overheated me after about an hour, not good) wonder if theyll have tweaked it into a game rather than the tech demo they released for the pc?

Before everyone calls me an idiot let me rephrase: software can't exactly magically overheat your card and cause it to overheat. If it's overheating it's probably been overclocked or maybe it's just not being cooled properly. So it's not like "Doom overheated my computer! Argh!"

It runs very well. The stock controls sucked though. At the demo they wouldn't let you change the controls >_< eitherway it does run smoothly and looks good.

It's been confirmed for quite a while, and in this month's OXM they explain how it works. Apparently the single player game and co-op game differ in some parts to better accomodate both players.

Do they include splitscreen DM and co-op? My xbox isn't modded so i'm just being curious here
The xbox one has got support for playing online against the pc one, though I dont think its been fully tested in the current version so it may be a little bit before it works fully, theres only been 1 release so far. As for Doom 3 overheating me it pushed the card a bit & coupled with the s**t case my pc came in (riveted along a couple of sides for 'have to dremel it off' fun should I get another to move the pc into) made it start givin artefacts after about an hour, what fun that was, fortunatly it wasnt a game I wanted to play much after trying it
