Atlus announces five DS games

Post by gamedudex2 »

No release dates announced for the games, which include another Megami Tensei title.
TOKYO--Japan-based Atlus announced today that it is currently planning five games for the Nintendo DS, including the tentatively titled Shin Megami Tensei DS, which will join the recently announced Shin Megami Tensei Online as upcoming games in the company's Megami Tensei series of role-playing games. Though Nintendo has set the release for the DS by the end of the year, Atlus did not indicate when these games would become available.

Atlus' DS lineup is as follows (note that all names are working titles):

Shin Megami Tensei DS / RPG
Snowboards Kids DS / racing
Caduceus / action
Jinsei-Game DS / board game
Choro-Q DS (also known as Gadget Racers in the US) / racing

Jinsei Game DS? It's the Game Of Life!
Duh!

Snowboard Kids? Sucky!

Choro Q? Blah!

Only Caduceus and Shin Megami Tensei are the ones to watch for.
I wish they made a port of Persona 1 for PS1 ot the DS.
Persona 1 rules!

Atlus published Disgaea in the US. Thats one of my favourite games on PS2, ok, Koei published in Europe, but still, it rocks.

Snowboard Kids has been confirmed to be a sequel, not a port of the N64 game

Could be, if you happen to have 15 other friends who will be in posession of a DS

Also, Im concerned about how well this wireless connectivity is going to work. WIFI loves interference, and 802.11b wasnt really designed to support 16 players connected to one another with no router...
