Welcome to last year!

Linux shadow 2.6.0 #1 Sun Jan 18 02:06:55 EST 2004 i686 GNU/Linux

The date's actually the date the kernel was compiled, not the current date.

That finally dawned on me about an hour ago.

Desktop (Gentoo): Linux caveonmars 2.6.1 #10 SMP Sat Jan 17 21:16:14 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

Webserver(Debian): Linux guelph2600.org 2.4.24 #1 SMP Tue Jan 6 04:55:46 EST 2004 i586 unknown

Note: Debian is the second worst distro, that is just my opinion, first being redhat, and don't point out I run it on my webserver its just because I am too lazy to switch it to anything else, gentoo is far more enlightening but fills you portage cache way to fucking fast.

Some of you fools need to update your kernels or your boxen will get compromised possibly....

Post your uptimes also...

Yea, I'm sitting with Solaris right now. Unless it really pisses me off, I'm not likely to go to linux

Aaargh! Mac user!

Here's one from a Windows machine. I'm kinda suprised nobody's posted one of these yet.

ehh, you're one to talk. ;) I was a staunch linux user (fanboy?) for several years (never run any windows > 3.1) 'till OS X came out. Then I defected.

Still got my trusty slackware box up there, though. (it just doesn't have a monitor)

Don't worry - it's not my Windows machine. I've just hijacked it in an attempt to get an IDE working with Dreamcast stuff.
