Well, eventually the tapes will degrade to the point at which their quality sucks horribly. And we are SO off topic.

Sure, but the initial quality is better, so it'll be in better condition at any given time than a VHS.

I have LP beta machine 6 hours 30 mins is not long enff for your porn?

Ngage has a nes emu and others it will be usefull for that homebrew and emulation. It is backlit and works rather well. It is a phone after all. Im suprized how small it is tiny. Nice looking.

You can get it as a phone for $99 here. Play nes c64 spectrum and lots of other emus and all java games to. So i dont see were it is use-less. Longer battery life then some others. And You can program home-brew for it just like the dreamcast.

Yup NSW Harvey norman but it was a contract thing. With telstra 24 month like the normal ripp-offs..

I guess if you wanted a phone then it was ok. Check them out it was in there catalog.

Yeah, Sony made the BetaMax, until they were sued by the movie companies, because people were using them to pirate their movies. They didn't go after VHS, apparently, because the quality was not near as good, and because the Beta was made primarily by Sony, and maybe one or two other companies. Sony won the case, the rulings had to do with the legitimate uses outweighing the illegitimate, but by that time, VHS was dominating, so they just kinda gave up.

I oughta mention, I've had to do way too much research on p2p/piracy for school, so this is another one of those topics I know too much about for my own good.

But why did everyone get all mad about the Beta comment, but nothing about the Tandys?

Oh, and the NGAGE sucks as a phone, it's seriously uncomfortable to use. And the radio won't work without headphones attatched to it. Which isn't cool. But you can record FROM the radio, which is.
