GTA: Vice City

who thinks this game is good on xbox or ps2?
what are you reasons?

ive just been wondering what other peoples opinions are becuz i have been playing this game i think it is awesome,the story line and the action

Its just the free roaming that sets it aside from most games and vice is quite cool, GTA3 seemed dark 24/7 inbetween all of those buildings.

When I get the Xbox version i'll like it for the loading times, slight graphics improvements and custome soundtracks

Yea vice city is pretty good. The missions seem a lot more interesting, not as much bs like GTA3. The storyline adds to the game too. Its worth $20 on PS2, or $50 for both on Xbox. I wouldn't have paid full price for it when it was released though.

Best game on PS2 by far. I've given it well over 100 hours of gameplay.
Even though ive fully 100% completed, I still g on it just to drive around and cause some havoc.
I love it.

Sure, its not exactly well-polished, but some of the glitches are hilarious, and if anything, add to the game.

Anyone know if the XBOX version is on a DVD-5 or DVD-9 DVD? Just....curious.... yeah.

I would have thought a DVD-5 as i have the PC version and that is on 3 CD's so that only adds up to just over 2 gig methinks.

Like i said i have the PC version and the graphics are awesome and the gameplay is also. I personally think the PC and X-Box version are proberbly better in the visual sense but i think gameplay is the same on all.

This game just oozes class i just love driving around causing havoc. Especially on that PGA500 bike (I think thats what its called)

I like it on the PS2. Pretty much one of the best PS2 titles out, and IMO, one of the best games ever released. Love those 80's.

The only major problem on PS2 is the low framrate. (around 20fps i think)

its really noticeable when you first play it, but luckily you get ued to it pretty quickly.

Got VC for my PS2 as soon as it was out, great fun, then found the PC one for ?3 soon after release in a local cash converters, grabbed it quick & loved the tweaks & custom soundtracks, finally got the Xbox one cheap as well, gotta love places that dont know what they're selling eh

the Xbox one comes off best as it has all the PC tweaks & the helicopters are murder to control without a pad

PS2 - The bottom of the bunch but you can get it for next to nothing now.

PC - Far better looking than the PS2 version, custom soundtracks and of course mods. The best version!

Xbox - Slightly better models and lighting than the other two but is only second best due to not being able to mod it.

it's worth the sacrifice, as long as you have a decent pad and graphics card.

besides what's wrong with sitting in front of a desk?

i have been playing it for a while on xbox and i realy like it, the frame rates and grfx are great and the game is incedible

you gotta love the sparrow heli and the army one, and the pcj600 is the coolest thing to ride besides the sabre turbo

one qestion...after the gang missions in the ghetto place..is the game over?

no one has called me or no new missions have come up...

and oh yeah..as soon as i started playing, i turned "Trails" off
it makes the frame rate much better. it works on ps2 also
