panzer dragoon orta

I was at babbages and seen this game for $25 used. My cousin was there and I asked her about it and she told me most of the people who bought it brought it right back cause they hated it so much. Apparently its really hard. I almost bought it but I figured it would be another one of those games that has a million things shooting at you from all over. IF it has PD zwei on it Id probably have bought it just for that. However I wasn't really found of the first Panzer Dragon so I got Morrowwind instead (and glad I did).

Panzer Dragoon Orta is AWESOME. I dunno what they were saying about it being too hard, I cruised through normal mode easily. The graphics on it are possibly the best on Xbox aswell.

Oh yea I forgot to ask, is this game that bad lol?

Seems odd if it was so good they would drop the price so quick. I think BMX XXX held its value longer then PD Saga.

I liked it...its not as good as Panzer Dragoon Zwei, but its close.

Them people are mad...they obviously dont like on-rail shooters...

In the UK theres been no damn price drop on it though

PDO has good replay value though due to the multiple routes. I would accuse it of being too easy rather than too hard.

Oddly enough I bought these both at the same time, new. PDO is a GREAT action game, and yeah its tuff, but hey, so are all the great shooters.

Morrowind is in a totally different leauge altogether and shouldnt be compared to PDO because it isnt an action game.

Different strokes for different folks.

That's just mass market injustice for you. Panzer Dragoon Orta is an amazing gem of a game, easily one of the best on the Xbox. It's definitely more of a hardcore gamer title, though, as it's harder than most pansy modern gamers will tolerate, but it looks, sounds, and controls wonderfully. It even has a good deal of strategy mixed in with all the mindless shooting due to different dragon forms providing an advantage at different times.

This game is awsome, I dunno why everyone hates it. I hear people say it's hard, maybe they should try an easier difficulty. I'm on level 7 and have only died twice...

Anyways, I think I heard that Orta was coming to the ps2...does this be true (I don't have, nor am I in a position to purchase, an Xbox)

Lol, if you played the game you would KNOW that it would have to be a crap port. The graphics would have to be numbed down...a lot. These graphics are the best I've seen on a console, far better than Splinter Cell...
